Hello and welcome! This will be the first edition of the Overbound Music Contest. You may be wondering what Overbound is; it's a game developed by CosmicCatGames that is currently in beta phase. The game's plot is simple: collect diamonds in each level to progress, but it's difficult because you have to dodge obstacles, you have 5 lives, and if you lose them, you'll be sent back to level 1 of the world you're in. We're also working on a mode called "Battle Mode," which consists of various mini-games with different themes where you can compete with your friends.

We have decided to hold a contest to give small artists the opportunity to have their music featured in our game. There are many talented artists on the site, and we would love for them to be a part of the development of Overbound. Here's how the contest will work:

Duration: 7 days starting from today, March 19. The contest ends on Monday, March 27.

Judges: A panel of developers will select a maximum of 15 songs. They will rate your song from 1 to 5 stars. The 15 songs with the highest scores will have the chance to be a part of the game. In the end, a final judgement will be made to decide which of those 15 songs will be included in the game. Only 10 will be accepted.

*The preferred music style should be melodic as it would suit the atmosphere and theme of the game.

Those whose music is selected will be given special in-game items and a free download key for the game on the platform of their choice. Additionally, with the approval of the selected artists, your music will be published on platforms with the support of CosmicCatGames. CosmicCatMusic and Nature Light (Note that all selected songs will be published in the same album, a compilation album, but the artists will still receive the corresponding rights, and all income from their music will be delivered to the respective author of the composition).

To participate, simply comment with your song, and we will respond within a week and start the judging process for your song :).

RULES:

• Songs cannot be published under a label as that will make it difficult to add it to the game. If they are already published on platforms without a label, it's fine as long as you give us permission to use your song in the game.
• Preferably, the music should be new, but if you prefer, it can be music you already had published previously. However, a new composition will give you a better chance of being selected, but it's not a mandatory requirement.
• Use of copyrighted elements is prohibited (to avoid issues when publishing). The song you send will be checked, and it will be determined if the composition is completely original. You cannot use elements from third parties unless you have permission and there are no issues with publishing, but preferably don't use them to avoid problems (we've had issues in the past with another artist due to complete composition duplication). A completely original composition without the use of third-party elements is preferred.
• You cannot submit more than one song. To ensure fairness, each participant can only upload one song. If we see that you uploaded more than one, you will be given a warning, which will affect your chances of participation. We will use the most recent song you uploaded and ignore the rest.

Esta será la primera edición de Overbound Music Contest, ustedes se preguntarán que es Overbound?; Es un juego desarrollado por CosmicCatGames que actualmente se encuentra en fase beta. Nosotros hemos decidido realizar un contest para darles la oportunidad a artistas pequeños que deseen que su música forme parte de nuestro juego. Hay artistas con gran potencial en el sitio y realmente me gustaría que formarán parte del desarrollo de Overbound. Por eso este contest funcionará así:

Duración: 7 días a partir de hoy 19 de marzo. Finalizá el lunes, 27 de marzo.

Jurado: Un jurado compuesto por desarrolladores eligirá un máximo de 15 canciones. Puntuará tu canción de 1/5 estrellas. las 15 canciones con mejor puntuación serán las que tendrán posibilidad de formar parte del juego. Al final se hará un juicio final donde se decidirá cuales de esas 15 canciones formarán parte del juego, que solo se admitirán 10.

*El estilo de música preferentemente debe ser melodico ya que se adaptaría al ambiente y tematica del juego.

A los que su música sea elegida, se les dará acceso a articulos especiales del juego y se les dará una clave de descarga gratuita del juego para la plataforma que deseen. Además con aprovación de los elegidos, tu música será públicada en las plataformas con apoyo de CosmicCatGames. CosmicCatMusic y Nature Light (Cabe aclarar que todas las canciones elegidas se públicarán dentro de un mismo álbum, dentro de un álbum recopilatorio, pero los artistas seguirán recibiendo los derechos correspondientes y todos los ingresos de su música serán entregados al autor correspondiente de la composición).

Para participar solamente comenta tu canción, nosotros te darémos respuesta dentro de una semana e iniciará el jucio para elegir tu canción :).

REGLAS:

- No pueden ser canciones que esten públicadas dentro de un sello, eso dificultará un poco el proceso para que podamos añadirla al juego. Si ya están publicadas en plataformas sin un sello, no hay problema, mientras tu al participar nos des el permiso de usar tu cancion dentro del juego.

- De preferencia debe ser música nueva, pero si lo prefieres y deseas puede ser música que ya tenías públicada anteriormente. Eso si te dará más posibilidades si la composición es nueva pero no es un requisito obligatorio.

- Queda prohibo el uso de elemenetos con derechos de autor. (Para evitar problemas al momento de públicar). La cancion que envies será comprobada y se determinará si la composición es completamente original. No puedes usar elementos de 3ros al menos que tengas los permisos y no haya ningun problema con la publicación, pero preferentemente no hagas uso de ellos, para evitar problemas (Que ya hemos tenido en el pasado con otro artista por duplicación de la composición completa). Preferentemente una composición completamente original sin uso de elementos de terceros.

- No puedes publicar más de una canción. Para que la participación sea justa, cada participante solo podrá subir una canción, si vemos que subiste más de una se te dará una advertencia y afectará tus posibilidades de participación. Usaremos la canción más reciente que hayas subido e ignoraremos las demás.
